Focused on Photography.
The Image Team is a motorsport focused photographic agency but we don’t only shoot at the track. We are available to cover shows, events, parades and meetings and news events. Our lead photographer is a member of the European Press Federation and a subscriber to Editorial Photographers UK.
Paris Motorshow 2014
The Image Team regularly attend motorshows and trade shows across the UK and Europe. This image was taken at the 2014 Mondial de l’Automobile at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre in Paris. It shows our detail work on new models, in this case the new for 2015 Vauxhall/Opel Corsa.
Aerodynamics is for those who cannot manufacture good engines.
Unless I am very much mistaken...I AM very much mistaken!
The track is my canvas. My car is my pencil.
When you are fitted in a racing car and you race to win, second or third place is not enough.
Our brief at an event is decided in concert with our clients. We put your requirements first ensuring that you get the images you require to support your event coverage.
Our experience with many of the circuits raced in a season mean we can capture some of the best action and atmospheric shots at a race meeting.
We perform several uploads a day during events and meetings giving you fast access to the days images.
At most race meetings, when the cars go quite the work is just starting. We aim to have all the days images online for you to download by 21:00 on the day they were taken. Obviously, hotel internet connections are variable so we can't always achieve this but we do try.
The Image Team have a vast store of knowledge about many of the subjects we cover and are available for further context information relating to our images. Our photographers have a combined knowledge of over 100 years of motor racing in the UK and around the world.
Each event will have its own gallery on our archive website, sometimes we even break our galeries down further by marque so that you can find the photo you are looking for.
Over several years in the Motorsport industry our lead photographer, Nicholas Smith, has built up an enviable knowledge base about GT and Endurance racing.
That experience has now been recognised and Nicholas has joined the team of expert commentators and pundits for Motorsport-Radio.com. You can here his expert opinion on British GT, Britcar and other GT racing events in sound and vision with Motorsport Media Ltd’s Lester Forbes and Dan Marr on Motorsport-Radio.com and YouTube now.
Our next event is the second round of the 2017 British GT Championship, MINI Challenge and Milltek Sport Volkswagen Racing Cup at Rockingham Motor Speedway in Corby.
The run up to an event is all about communication. Keeping the media and the public informed about an upcoming event will make it more likely they will chose to attend your meeting than that of a competitor.
Through social media and communication with the press, we will work with you to boost excitement and anticipation before you head to the venue. This works to maximise attendance of both the paying public and the media who will boost your profile.
During an event we work to inform on the action and educate about the participants. The Image Team have access to a vast store on knowledge on a wide range of motorsport events and several other areas too. One of our regular contributors is a cricket umpire and basketball aficionado. Another is a life long brass bandsman with a side line in road transport.
Social media is the key again, keeping the information flowing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We will handle all of this for you, leaving you to focus on what you do best; Running your event.
If you only want the websites and the bloggers to cover your event, you can stop working when the action ends. If you really want to get out there you need to hit the print media, the radio and the TV.
Here we work hard after the event to continue publicising the action. Post event press releases to major media make it much more likely that you will receive the vital column inches. More social media work to show what a great time everyone had. All of this works to keep you and your event in the mind of the public once the gates have been locked again.
Our plan at the start of 2016 had 26 events on it.
Thank the lord we have efficient cars.
We like to give you choice, this is just in 2016.
Just a guess but we will hit the coffee hard when we get to the race track.
