Ford continues to set the pace

MarcVDS Ford continued to show that they are looking for a shot at victory this weekend. In the Pre-Qualifying session the #41 MarcVDS Ford stayed ahead of everyone else.


The MarcVDS Ford team had the upper hand in the Free Practice session at the Sachsenring. After a disappointing weekend at Portimao they opened this weekend as first and second fastest.
JR Motorsports dominated the qualifying race with a 1-2 finish. Dumbreck and Westbrook drove their #22 JRM Nissan to the top step of the podium with the #23 JRM Nissan close behind. The #20 Sumo Power Nissan completed an all-Nissan podium.
JR Motorsports took the win in the championship race at Portimao. They looked set for a 1-2 finish again but that all ended when the #22 car suffered gearbox issues. The #23 JRM took the win in front of the #8 Young Driver Aston Martin and the #21 Sumo Power Nissan.
Nissan has dominated the qualifying session at Portimao. All of the four Nissans ended up in the top 5 with only Aston Martin being able to challenge them. All-Inkl suffered bad luck with not one of their cars in Q3.
