The Stephane Ratel Organisation or SRO have announced that they will not be continuing as promotor for either the FIA GT1 World Championship or the FIA GT3 European Championship in 2013. The company will continue to promote the remaining calendar events for 2012. SRO cite the current financial climate as the reason for their decision. Read more: Ratel Calls Time For GT1 and 3

The SRO have released a revised calendar for the FIA GT1 World Championship and its European GT3 stablemate. The new calendar drops both the San Luis circuit of Protreos de Los Funes and the round at Circuit Park Zandvoort in the Netherlands. Read more: San Luis and Zandvoort dropped from GT1

Hexis AMRThe calendars for both the FIA GT1 World Championship and GT3 European Championship have been announced today with expansion being the way for both. The Reiter Engineering team are back in the GT1 World Championship. The team which ran two Murcielagos in the first season of the SRO organised championship, will return with a pair of Lamborghini Gallardo LP600+ vehicles. GT3 based cars will feature in the new GT World ChampionshipThe SRO (Stephane Ratel Organisation) the organisers of the GT1 World Championship have announced that the 2012 World GT Championship will run with mainly GT3 spec cars.
