The Sigma sponsored #2 Ferrari 430 of Michael and Sean McInnerney and Phil Keen took the overall glory at the Britcar 24 Hours at Silverstone. Having battled punctures and safety cars, back markers and the demise of their fellows, they were joined on the podium by two class three entrants.
A new day dawned at Silverstone with aproblem for the Aquila CR1 which had dominated to this point. A burst water pipe sidelined the car for a lengthy stop in the sixteenth hour of the race.
